Medge Consulting invests in early-stage media ventures with potential. We take an active role by contributing expertise to their continued development.
Medge Production House
Medge Consulting is a major shareholder of Medge Production House (MPH), a London-based production and hospitality services hub, offering total broadcasting production support. This is used by the Nordic networks currently licensed to air Barclays Premier League matches through Medge Consulting, the primary rights holder for the region, and by Abu Dhabi Media (ADM). Facilities at MPH include tailored onsite OB/ENG packages, supply of broadcast crews, satellite distribution, accreditation support and voice-over facilities for off tube commentary. MPH also hosts office space and support for the network’s onsite production personnel. Its tailored hospitality services range from basic logistics and hotel bookings, to exclusive VIP services such as hospitality sports packages and travel coordinating.

Supponor
Supponor is a specialist company focused entirely on developing and commercialising Digital Billboard Replacement technology (DBR) for live sports broadcasts. DBRLive is ground-breaking because it means viewers of live sporting events can see billboard advertising specifically tailored to them. The stadium billboards are marked with a special film, which broadcast cameras recognise. They seamlessly integrate replacement billboards onto their feed, which look completely natural to the TV viewer. The technology means multiple live feeds can be generated, each with different graphics in any electronic media form - including animation or video. For the first time, billboard advertising broadcast from live events can be tailored to meet the requirements of each broadcast region or the varying demands of the advertisers themselves.
Supponor kicked off an exciting new era in perimeter advertising at the England vs Ghana international football match at Wembley Stadium in March 2011. Fans watching the friendly on television in Africa saw completely different perimeter advertising boards to those watching in the stadium and on televisions elsewhere across the world.
Star Stable
Star Stable is a new online multi-player horse-riding adventure game. The interactive virtual world is aimed at 7-15 year-old girls with a passion for horses and horse-riding. Players can enter the 3D world to solve quests, compete, chat, train and take care of their horse as well as explore their surroundings. The game launched in Sweden in 2011, and will soon be available to the rest of the world. The virtual world of Star Stable was first introduced in a series of PC games, designed for horse-interested girls and distributed via book clubs during 2005-2009. The PC games established a strong brand within the girl entertainment segment. This spawned Star Stable products such as comic books, mobile games and now, an on-line community and online-game. To date, the PC games have been distributed in 22 markets in 14 different languages. More than 3 million copies have been sold.
